We are excited to have you share with our church family, and we look forward to seeing how the Lord will work in your life to grow you into the man or woman that He desires you to be.  Colossians 3:9-10 tells us that when a person is in Christ, he or she should take off the "old self with its practices and...put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator."  That is what our membership is all about.  Helping you walk in your new image as a child of God.

Our process for welcoming members into the church is designed to help each person grow from membership to discipleship--from walking down the aisle at a worship service or other experience, to finding an area of ministry where you can use your God-given gifts, to engaging in study and other activities that will help you to begin the path of Christian discipleship.

This Membership Guide will provide you with important information to help you start, and continue, your journey here at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.  The guide contains the materials for your all of your New Member classes, as well as other reference information that ou will find useful in the days ahead.  We encourage you to familiarize yourself with this guide by briefly flipping through the class material and appendix section.

Again, welcome to our fellowship.  We're not perfect, but we are being perfected by the transforming power of Jesus Christ.  We are putting on our "new image" and we know that our journey will be richer because you have joined us.  We pray that He will work through your life to help Mt. Sinai Baptist Church continue to be
"a place where people encounter God."

Should you have any questions please feel free to contact the Deacon Ministry through our contact page.

Blessings and Peace,

Love is patient; love is kind…Love never ends.
- 1 Corinthians 13
Congratulations! We are delighted that you are considering The Mt. Sinai Baptist Church  as the location for your Christian ceremony. The decision to unite in marriage brings many blessings.  It is a covenant made in love – a decision couples make after much prayer and consideration.

Weddings at Mt. Sinai are performed by our ministers and each couple is required to meet with the minister for practical pre-marital counseling.  Referrals are available for couples desiring a more in-depth pre-marital counseling program.

All weddings must be scheduled at least 60 days in advance. Many weddings at Mt. Sinai are held in our spacious sanctuary.

Feel free to call the church office  to schedule an appointment for the required pre-marital pastoral counseling session, and to inquire about fees, music, decorations, and to schedule the date of your ceremony and rehearsal.

In the inevitable time of loss because of death, the spirit of love and eternal hope of the Concord fellowship is the strongest.  Each and every one of us needs the circle of love in the face of death and mourning.

We approach our funeral services as ministry to the grieving family; and our service is in the form of Worship.  The focus of this worship service is on comforting the bereaved, commemorating and celebrating the life of the departed and giving thanks and praise for God's gift of everlasting life. Please contact the church office  to coordinate arrangements.

Baby Dedications

Baby Dedications are a time of celebration and a renewal of commitment. Children are blessed and dedicated within the context of the worship service and families renew their commitment to walk in faith.  This is a special time as parents pledge to raise their children so that they would come to the knowledge of God - and the Mt. Sinai congregation pledges to support the families' efforts.

Children are dedicated on the 1st Sunday of the month. Parents preparing for a baby's dedication must contact the church office.
